How to get around Mallorca

Buses run well all over the island — in the season, frequent routes and good connections with Palma and other cities.
Car rental — if you plan to visit places outside the stops and bus routes. For example, to see:
- Cap Formentor early in the morning — sunrise over the lighthouse is an incredible sight! But for this, you need a car, because buses start running to the cape after 6 am.
- El Trenc beach — there is no public transport here, only by car. But you’ll find wonderful white sand and turquoise water.
- Far del Cap de ses Salines lighthouse and El Caragol beach — remote from all towns, the southwestern cape with a beautiful lighthouse and an empty beach. It’s worth coming here for peace and quiet.
- Cala Sa Calobra bay — you can get here only by car or on an excursion bus. Very steep serpentine road, incredible mountain and sea views, secret bay with a tiny beach in a gorge.
