Numerous hiking trails are laid out on the mountain slopes of the Monti Lattari National Park on the Amalfi Coast. These paths have an ancient history. They once connected the villages scattered across the mountain slopes of the entire coastline.<\/p>

Today, thousands of hiking enthusiasts definitely include these amazing places in their travel plans. After all, one of the most picturesque trails in Italy is located here – the Path of the Gods (Sentiero degli Dei)<\/strong>.<\/p>

What You Will See on the Path of the Gods<\/strong><\/h2>

This breathtakingly beautiful scenic mountain road leaves no one indifferent. Along the way, you will see spectacular views of Positano<\/strong>, the island of Capri<\/strong>, the Li Galli<\/strong> islands, and the Tyrrhenian Sea<\/strong>. In some places, the cliffs reach a height of over 300 meters. You just need to see it! According to legend, the Path of the Gods was the route taken by the ancient Greek Gods while protecting Odysseus from the alluring voices of mythical creatures that lured sailors into traps.<\/p>

Bomerano<\/strong> – Nocelle<\/strong><\/h3>

The most popular route, as the trail offers fantastic views ahead and is mostly downhill, making it easier to hike.<\/p>

This is also the simplest way to complete the trail: from Bomerano<\/strong> to Nocelle<\/strong>. You can reach the starting point of the Path of the Gods in Bomerano by taking the Amalfi-Agerola bus. This direction is easier and goes downhill.<\/p>

From the end point in Nocelle, you can take a bus to Positano<\/strong>. In principle, if you are not very tired, you can walk all the way to Positano. In this case, the Path of the Gods will be a bit longer for you.<\/p>

The distance between Bomerano and Nocelle is about 4.5 km. Allow approximately three hours to complete the hike, taking into account possible stops for photos, rest, and meals.<\/p>

Nocelle – Bomerano<\/strong><\/h3>

The second option is to hike in the opposite direction from Positano or Nocelle to Bomerano<\/strong> with an ascent. This is more suitable for those who want a physical challenge.<\/p>

Starting from Praiano<\/strong><\/h3>

To reach the trail from Praiano<\/strong>, you need to climb steep stairs. If you are staying in Praiano, you can take a bus to Positano, transfer to a small bus to Nocelle and start the hike in the opposite direction. Then you can finish the trail by descending the stairs to Praiano.<\/p>
