Visit the neighboring ancient capital of Malta, Mdina, where you can catch the feeling that time has stopped. From Valletta, you can quickly reach the island of Gozo by high-speed ferry, and nearby are the more modern Sliema and St. Julians, where you can find good shopping and entertainment in nightclubs and bars. Both buses and boats run between Valletta and these cities at the price of public transportation (2 euros).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
