What does Christmas look like in Nuremberg? Organ and instrumental music sounds in the churches, a nativity scene exhibition is held on Spitalgasse, and a collection of old market stalls can be seen in the town hall. The air is filled with the tempting smells of mulled wine and rum punch, roasted almonds, Nuremberg sausages and gingerbread. When the Nuremberg Christ appears on the balcony of the Church of Our Lady to open the Christmas season, it is a joy for adults and children. In the evenings, lantern processions take place throughout the city, you can ride an old stagecoach, and Christmas in Nuremberg will remain in your memory for a long time.
